Adult Costumes I’ve Worn
from:Of all of the adult costumes on the market, humorous adult costumes are great to wear to a Halloween party. I have worn many humorous adult costumes over the years, but several have been stand out favorites. The year that the movie Billy Madison came out, I wore a penguin costume. I got a lot of laughs from that outfit.
I’ve also worn two different humorous chicken adult costumes at different times. One of the adult costumes was yellow and the other was white. I’ve also dressed as a comical cow and as a flamingo. Although I really enjoy dressing up as an animal, some of my favorite costumes have been adult costumes for couples.
I went to a party with a friend once and we went as wacky tourists. We had straw hats and Hawaiian shirts. We looked really great. The next year, we went in different adult costumes to another party. That year we went as bacon and eggs because I had found some great couples and adult costumes on a clearance rack.
Some of the adult costumes on the market are very sexy and others are classic. There are so many different pirate and princess adult costumes for sale every year, it is astounding. I still enjoy clever adult costumes that poke fun at things. I still like dressing up as a bottle of mustard for a party. I have a friend that has been a French maid every year since we were teenagers.
Adult costumes can be very expensive if you are interested in a high quality costume of a licensed character. I’ve seen an adult Superman costume that sells for a thousand dollars. Adult costumes in that price range are usually better rented than bought, just like tuxedos. It seems like there are more opportunities for adults to wear costumes than there are for children. Children seem to only dress up on Halloween. Adults can attend costume parties year round.
I have found some really great adult costumes shopping for clearance items on the big costume websites. The best value was for a dark prophetess for only fifteen dollars. The regular price for that costume was sixty dollars. It is still important to pay close attention to what is and isn’t included in the price of adult costumes. The picture that you are looking at usually has several accessories that are not included in the price.
