Corporate Party Goes Un-boring!
from:A kiddie party is fun and easy to conduct. A cocktail party is too sophisticated it just encourages you to plan more. But corporate party? How can corporate party planning be enjoyable? Is it possible to add fun to this type of party? Well, it wouldn't be called party if there is no fun to it, right?
The thing about a corporate party is you have to keep everything professional. That means, you never have to go overboard and act as if you are not employed with the company. But at the same time, a corporate party must not be boring. Otherwise, who would attend one?
Tips, anyone? Here are some of the notable things that you can do for planning a corporate party:
1. Have a theme at hand.
It is better to plan a corporate party around a theme. You can go fantasy and have it themed after sci-fi shows like Star Trek or Star Wars. Everyone can also go gypsy, Western and hippie. It is more fun this way! The boss will absolutely love the ingenuity and creativity.
2. Inquire if everyone wants to bring another friend along.
It can be an exclusive party for you and your officemates and the higher-ups and it can also be one with your families and friends. Agree on it and decide.
3. Skip tradition.
If tradition has it that your office holds its party at a restaurant, forget about it this time. Launch an adventure. Let this party be different from the rest!
4. Prepare games.
What is a party without games? Spice things up by conducting games like the murder mystery one.
5. Make sure everyone behaves.
Okay, this seems like a tricky tip because how can you control everyone's attitudes anyway? Just make sure the party is not too wild and that no one gets too drunk. Foods must be rich in carbohydrates and protein to slow down the alcohol absorption.
6. Surprise your officemates.
How? Well, you can have a limousine service be available after the party. That way, the party doesn't end until the limo has parked right at their driveway.
7. Get great entertainers.
Make sure you avail of bands who are not boring! Get performers who can get everyone standing and dancing!
8. Enjoy every minute of it!
If everyone avoids that partypooper attitude, then that corporate party is sure to become a blast!
